CRE-8-BIT Event was a SUCCESS!

For our second month at our new location, F+GALLERY, we had another successful day of networking, new, along with repeat, customers, festivities and food.
This month's event was called: "CRE-8-BIT".

At this event we had 13 vendors, not including our wonderful food truck. We offered several entertaining services and a free make and take craft. At each event we try to have a make and take.

The free craft consisted of perler beads which create such amazing 8-bit style designs. Instructions were on the table and our customers just had a blast! Anyone could do it!

Our 8-BIT Photo Booth captured a lot of attention. We found many people wanted to be pose with family and friends in funny photos.

One of our beautiful coordinators, Genevieve, had her birthday, and was given a yummy gluten-free cake to celebrate before the event. (The cake was from a bakery in Fountain Valley called "Sensitive Sweets")

Along with the Make and Take, Photo Booth, and shopping, we also offered several services, such as:

HENNA by Genevieve

AIRBRUSH TATTOOS by Eva Lacy of Lacy Ink.

 CARICATURES by John Sotelo

Even one of our vendors, Robyn from Goody Jar Designs jumped in on the caricature fun!

A new food truck came to our event, and boy was it delicious: WAFFLE-ICIOUS! They had so many good items, one customer went back 4 times to try something different. The food was affordable and incredible! Everyone who ate it would tell their next customer what to order. 2 of the coordinators ordered the Grilled Cheese, and it was excellent!

Waffle-icious asked to join us again, and we are so happy to say that we will be having them back at future events.

At the entrance, we had FREE SWAG to giveaway, ASTEROID buttons.
Those who arrive early to our events sometimes get a little somethin' somethin'.

Amongst all of the fun, we had a raffle going on throughout the event. One of our vendors, Audrey from Audrey Miller Art, had her heart set on this "TOFU GIRLS" print...she bought a lot of raffle tickets and it paid off!!!!

We want to send out a BIG THANK YOU to all of our vendors, Waffle-icious and of course all of our customers, friends and family who came out and supported our event. We love to see each and every one of you. This is our passion and each of our vendors loves to share what they make.
Please keep supporting local handmade arts and crafts. These people are too talented to have desk jobs!

"CRAFTSABLANCA" Review

Well, our first event at our new location was a success! We had so many wonderful, unique vendors. No 2 tables were alike. We were joined by so many amazing people who supported local artists.

For those of you that are not aware of who we are, we are a non-profit, homegrown organization. Our goal is to provide affordable space for artists and allow them to set up shop in a convenient and fun environment. All of the events are free for the public. When people shop locally, it saves on shipping, they get to meet face to face with the artists and engage in conversation about what the artist's love to do. When the customers see how much the artists love their work, it rubs off on the them and leaves a lasting impression. You can't get that from an online shop. :)

The F+ Gallery provides a comfortable, urban feel. The walls are covered with beautiful canvases for purchase. Each month, on the first Saturday, the gallery changes the canvases and has an art show. For more info on their First Saturday Event, please visit: F+Gallery

Along with the amazing atomosphere, "DOGZILLA" food truck provided gourmet, japanese inspired, hot dogs. Beside all of the wonderful festivities, they were one of the biggest vendors we had! After eating some dinner, people raced over to "A Secret Name" Bakery  for delicious cupcakes!
At our events, we try to offer fun services such as henna, airbrush tattoos, face painting, photo-booths and more. This event we had John Sotelo, a seasoned theme park caricature artist. He had guests laughing and loving their cartoon portraits.

We want to thank all of those who came out, supported our artistic community and we hope you will come by to shop each month at our unique event!
Stay in the loop through Facebook, Twitter,  and Instagram.
